Rice Boy is a huge, surreal fantasy-adventure comic that I've made and self-published. Help me keep the Rice Boy book in print!
My name is Evan. I live in New York and I draw comics and publish them online. I've self-published a few books, and I've been doing this for about 5 years. You can read my comics online here. My first book was a huge surreal fantasy-adventure comic called Rice Boy, and since then I've made a new story called Order of Tales, and I've started on a third one called Vattu.
Rice Boy is a comic I finished in 2008, and I got a run of 1,000 books printed in early 2010. They sold way faster than I anticipated, and they're running out now! I'm starting this kickstarter to fund the next edition!
I've made some new art which will be available only through this fundraiser, and a limited number of the new Rice Boy books will be made hardcover! The hardcover books will have the same interior as the paperbacks, but will have case binding with white cloth over it, and a little image of Rice Boy right in the middle of the cover. They'll be signed and numbered, and there will be only 200 of these, ever.
