Theatre Screening

We finished the 48 hours with a lot of tired people. We spent all night the first day writing the script. We started shooting early the next morning, and continued shooting until 3am sunday morning. We hit the editing room and did that until we had to turn it in late. Turning it in late means unfortunately missing out on potential awards. However, we did still get to screen the film. Even late, however, the film feels unfinished, so I'm currently doing a few pickups with the actors and creating a "final cut" or "director's cut" to be included on the DVD. The premiere version won't be made available until the director's cut is finished. We had AMAZING support from our cast and crew. Great job to everyone who worked on the film. I was up for over 80 hours straight to do this project, from Friday Morning at 7am until Monday night at 11pm, with only a 3 hour involuntary nap! The other 48 hour films we screened were very interesting! Some were really great, others were unique and challenging. The best part about the whole thing was after the show, a nice elderly lady came up to me and told me she loved our movie, Vivid Dreams. It was an amazing experience. Can't wait to share it with everyone!
