My first music album is a collection of 12 songs honoring Mexican Mariachi Music with my own vocals and artistic vision.
This Album is a dream come true. As I perform in different places the most popular question asked is " Can I buy your CD?" Thanks to your pledges this will now be possible. I have secured this project with my producer/ songwriter, Ismael Gallegos. Our vision is to incorporate a modern day twist to the Mariachi genre along with selecting songs with a range of emotions that everyone can identify themselves with. I am Happy to inform all of you that I will be including 2 songs that I have co-written and a very special song that I am including written by my Mom.
Mariachi music is complex. For the recording phase I will incorporate a minimum of 6 musicians and 10 live instruments along with background vocals. I want this album to be professionally made just like those made or sold by world renown Mariachi Singers. Additionally I am currently taking vocal lessons to keep my instrument at its peak. All 13 tracks will be recorded in a professional recording studio in the city of Whittier, CA.
While the songs are being mastered we will be working on the photo session for the album cover and marketing materials. Many of you will have a chance to help me decide on the first promotional album single during "The Listening Party." The album promotion will include a Public Relations Campaign, Media Tours and a CD Release Party.
To achieve a professional end product that I can be proud of, this project will require a considerable financial investment on my part. I am counting on your collective pledges of $4K plus to achieve this goal. At the end, I know that you will be proud of the album and YOU would have played a part in its success.
