What is ZenFire?

The ZenFire is a beautiful sand garden of fire. A custom designed copper coil makes this a wonderful centerpiece for a outdoor summer dinner, or fall barbecue. ZenFire comes as kit. The kit consists of 3 pieces, and is drop-dead easy to assemble. The ZenFire connects to a standard propane tank, and comes with a safety regulator. The included propane hose is plenty long to hide the propane tank under a table, under the deck, or behind the fence. ZenFire creates a firepit of the future, and allows you to roast a marshmallow, anywhere!

How do I get ZenFire?

If you're an early backer, $49 will get you your very own ZenFire. Otherwise, the Kickstarter price of $59 will deliver a ZenFire to your door by Summer 2012 (Estimated delivery April). I'm offering two different kit configurations. For $65, you get the ZenFire Kit, which includes a complete ZenFire, which you can place anywhere on your back porch, on a stand, etc. $95 delivers a ZenFire+Rustic Stand kit to your door. This kit is featured in the video, and includes a iron + brick arrangement that frames your ZenFire as a beautiful yard piece.

When will ZenFire arrive?

ZenFire will arrive to your door by Summer 2012. Estimated delivery is April.

  • Does ZenFire come with sand?

    Yes! I include white sand with each kit.

  • How large is ZenFire?

    The first production run of Zenfire will be about 16.5" across.

  • Is shipping included?

    Shipping is included in all pledge prices for the continental United States. If you are outside of that region, there will be an additional shipping charge of $25 for the $65 pledge level, and an additional $50 for the $95 pledge level, so be sure to up your pledge. If you forget, I'll contact you after funding to clarify any questions about shipping.

    Shipping out of country is pretty terrible, I apologize!

  • What type of propane tank do I need?

    ZenFire is designed to work with a standard 20lb tank (used for grills and other propane implementations). However, it will attach to any standard propane fitting, so your smaller 5lb tanks should work just fine!
