About this project
Hi, This is Ryan & Eric from Eric & Magill.
To date our record “All Those I Know” has only been offered up as a digital download. We have been humbled, flattered and amazed to receive so many messages from people who have been enjoying “All Those I Know” and are hoping to get the record on vinyl. With a little prodding we are done dragging our feet and are hoping to get the funding to fulfill the dream of seeing “All Those I Know” spinning on a turntable.
Similar to how we worked with some of our favorite musicians to help collaborate on the record (folks from Shearwater, Dirty Projectors, Owen, Maritime, Volcano Choir, Headlights, Via Tania, and many more), we have reached out to one of our favorite visual artists, Eric Hancock, to make the experience of “All Those I Know” a delight for the eyes as well. We are sure you that will find his work, inspired by our record, a perfect compliment to the music. To top it all off this limited edition offering will have all of the artwork hand screened with love! Not to mention this will be the 3rd release for our good friends at Ten Atoms.
Our funding goal for this project is $1,750. It would be truly amazing to reach this goal and to make pressing vinyl for “All Those I Know” a reality!

June of 2007, a day after completing Decibully’s latest release World Travels Fast, Ryan Weber packed his bags and his laptop and moved to the Republic of Armenia for a year to volunteer as an instructor of audio design. It was in here in this foreign post that in his free time Weber began sketching what would become “All Those I Know”.
While In Armenia proximity to Decibully and his other musical partners in Milwaukee become less important. Access to erratic e-mail, in an office that was converted from a metal shipping container, was the only way that he could collaborate with friends back in the States. During this period Weber started bouncing ideas off of long time friend and former Camden guitarist Eric Osterman. It was through this process of writing songs over e-mail that spawned the idea of collaborating with everyone Weber knew. Through years of touring and making music Weber was able to enlist some close friends who happen to be some of the most well respected and acclaimed artists in indie rock to collaborate with.
“All Those I Know” features collaborations with artists responsible for creating such bands as, Shearwater, The Dirty Projectors, Volcano Choir, Collections of Colonies of Bees, Pele, Owen, Joan of Arc, Cap’n’Jazz, American Football, Via Tania, Headlights, Sufjan Stevens, Maritime, The Promise Ring, Vermont, Dashboard Confessional, The Snake The Cross The Crown, Braid, Hey Mercedes, The Gloria Record, Mineral, Zookeeper, Parts and Labor, Volcano I’m Still Excited, Americans UK, Decibully, The Championship, Juniper Tar, The Celebrated Working Man, Parts and Labor, Fever Marlene, Revision Text, Control, The Tea Cups, Faux Fir, Group of the Altos, Trolley, Jonathan Burkes, and the Idaho Yodeler. In addition to these musicians, Osterman and Weber created an Internet Choir comprised of over forty friends singing into their computers from around the world.
Weber and Osterman began their musical careers together in 1998 with the postemoneo-space pop band Camden. They made two records with Death Cab Fo rCutie’s Chris Walla for Parasol’s Grand Theft Autumn Records and Brilliante Records. During Camden’s lifespan they toured constantly with bands such as The Promise Ring, Death Cab For Cutie, Pele, The Gloria Record, and Antarctica.
Following the Camden’s demise, Weber went on to join the Promise Ring for their career defining record Wood/Water, which was recorded with legendary producer Steven Street (The Smiths, Blur, The Cranberries), at Jacob’s Studio in England in 2002 for Anti-Records.
During the down time from touring with the Promise Ring Weber co-founded the group Decibully with long time friend, Camden vocalist and Promise Ring keyboardist William Seidel. Weber officially got behind the mixing board for Decibully and has produced 4 acclaimed records that were released by Polyvinyl Records and Listening Party Records. Decibully has toured with Shearwater, Lucero, Owen, The Snake the Cross the Crown, and Headlights. Weber remains as a multi instrumentalist/producer in Decibully.
“All Those I Know” is a true testament to the power of technology and the strength of friendships and the shrinking planet. From its colorful and sweeping soundscapes down to its quiet whispers, “All Those I Know” is an undeniably gorgeous record that will have you captivated from start to finish.
