About the Puzzle Heart Release Show:

Come celebrate the release of Puzzle Heart with an unforgettable evening of Live Music & Original Album Art on display! This is a special Dual Release Show event, featuring not only my debut album performed by a stellar live band, but also singer-songwriter George Woods (guitarist & string arranger on my album) and his new CD entitled Heartbeat. Opening up for us is a fantastic group called The Great Whiskey Rebellion, who will get us all in a partying mood with their upbeat music!

Puzzle Heart Off To Packaging!

Dear Backer Family,

Just writing to update you on the goings on with Puzzle Heart. We are in the home stretch!

Today I signed the consent form for the final packaging design, cut the check to Alphabet Arm for their services, and sent everything to my packaging company A to Z Media, who will be making 1,000 physical copies!
In as little as 2-3 weeks I will have my CD delivered to my door, and ready to take the last steps in releasing it...

SO FAR, SO GOOD...
-The songs, as you know, are now recorded, mixed & mastered, waiting for you to hear them. They sound great- better than I imagined!
- With the additional funds you helped me raise, I recently released a music video for "Final Wishes" the opening track from the album...

NEXT...
-In the next week or so, I will be sending all of you an EXCLUSIVE pre-release digital download of the full CD so that you can finally hear it!
-I will also begin addressing the rest of your KickStarter prizes at this time, thanking you up and down for making this possible!
- Next in mid-late August, we'll send the finished CDs to CDBaby, a distribution company that will take care of putting my finished product on iTunes, Amazon, and other online retail sites. (When I get the physical CD in my hands there may be some tears of joy shed!)
- Finally, I wait as patiently as I can for iTunes to make the CD available!

THE CD RELEASE...
Once Puzzle Heart is officially released on the interwebs, I will be nearing completion with your prizes. I will be coordinating the band for the CD release show in the fall, booking the venue, rehearsing, and promoting Puzzle Heart. I will be redoing my websites, and doing everything I can to share the music and prepare for all of the gigging and music-making ahead of me. I will be writing more songs to share with you, videos for you to watch, stepping on the gas and not looking back!

I am so filled with happiness thinking about all of you, and the extraordinary encouragement you have given me. This has been a crazy journey so far, teaching me so much about music and about life. Thank you for donating, thank you for reading my updates and sharing your enthusiasm every step of the way.
Thank you as well for your patience- this journey has been unpredictable and along the way I have had to adjust my expectations and deadlines in order to make the highest quality CD possible. I truly believe that all of the time and effort has been worth it, and now I will have no regrets!
