It's been two years since I left the music ministry due to financial difficulties. Although I had 10 years and 4 albums behind me, I was unable to continue. So, in 2008, I was forced to announce my departure to the industry. I truly thought I was done and for a season I was. It felt as though everything that was built over the years had crumbled and burned to nothing. But then God began to rebuild my faith and slowly my hope returned as I turned all that I had over to Him. He began to show me the beauty that still lingered amidst the ashes; the rubble waiting to be rebuilt. I strongly believe God allowed everything that happened in the past both good and bad. I also believe that he has given a vision for a new and fifth album, "Beautiful Ashes".

The purpose behind this album will be to encourage others that God is a restorer of hope, and that He is a restorer of dreams. That no matter what has happened in their life and no matter how bad their circumstances seem around them, God wants to bring their situation back to life that it may become beautiful once again. Although my own financial circumstances haven't changed much, my excitement of what God can do has... and that's where you come in!

You have been directed to this page by someone or some other site because I need your help! At the end of October, I am supposed to head back in the studio with Travis Wyrick (Pillar, Disciple, P.O.D) to begin the new album. As many of you know making an album is very expensive and funds are hard to come by, especially without label backing. From this Kickstarter site I am trying to raise $18,500 to fund this project. The funding will help cover production, the hiring of musicians, distribution, artwork, mailings, and travel/hotels while making the album. It will also help cover the replication of at least 3,000 albums so that we are able to sell them to not only you, but get them into the stores that have carried my albums in the past. While this raised amount may not actually take care of all the obligations, it will definitely make the project possible by bringing our expenses to a manageable point.

You choose the amount you want to donate and then I send you your reward once the album is complete.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS! We have 75 days to raise the funds and it's an all or nothing kind of deal. If we can reach the goal by the deadline of October 2nd, the project will be funded and you will get some amazing rewards for donating once the album is complete. If we fail to reach the goal, however, I will get nothing, you will not be charged, and no amount of amazing rewards will be mailed out. So once you donate, please help me spread the word so that we can reach the goal in time! And think of it this way....if you were going to get the album once it came out anyway, go ahead and "pre-order" it today. Then you can tell others you helped in the making of the new album! (In fact with the $40.00 package incentive...I will thank you in the liner notes of the album for the world to see! :)

Lastly, if you help fund this project please know that you are taking part in a ministry that's main focus is to reach the youth around the world. Éowyn Music has always been a ministry that reaches out to youth, especially those who are cutters, those who may be suicidal, dealing with depression, or anger. With every album that I have ever created I always pray it will hit home for those youth and ultimately lead them to a hope that is in Jesus Christ.
