YAAAAAAY!!! I've hardly slept since Thursday... but it is so worth it :)

WE did it!!! ... Thanks to YOU!!!

I have to admit there were a few times there when I wasn't sure if we would, but thanks to all 161 backers from all over the world, consisting of my friends, family, CREW, Couchsurfers I've never met and you have all blown my mind with your generosity, understanding, and faith in this project.

The fundraiser was a success and many of the backers attended this gathering!!

Although this is a major milestone in pre-production, really the work is JUST beginning...

Vaccinations - check. Passport photos - check. VISAS - almost check. Parental approval - highly unlikely to be checked - Major flights - CHECK! Booked last week leaving SFO to Bangkok March 30th... and you can continue to follow the ENTIRE journey on my video blog:

Hey backers,

This is where is starts to get interesting... 9 days to go and we're half way there. Lots of people have said they plan to donate so I'm confident we will get there despite the number we are seeing... But we do need to keep passing it around and opening our hearts...and wallets :)

This Friday Feb 25th we are holding a Kick-starter fundraiser party where I believe we will get that last push!

Hello backers!!

I am so excited to say we have our first Associate Producer who has donated $500 - Miss Josephine Rasella!!

We are now about 50% of the way to our goal and I am sooo pleased. 13 more days to go and a fundraiser party at 901 Columbus Cafe @ Lombard st in North beach at 6pm Friday February 25th!

I also am pleased to welcome and thank Cathy Brown, Larry Stone, Jen-Michele, Nick Boire, and videographers Tay Siang Hui and Xinhui Val who are working really hard to get us to the promised land!!

Hey my backer family,

Day 4 we are 21% there... My friend, Arin Crumley, who has a lot of experience with Kickstarter.com campaigns says that if a project reaches a 25% funded rate, they are 90% likely to succeed -- so this is very promising.

What was most encouraging about yesterday's funders is that they are becoming less of my friends and family and slowly the CouchSurfing community and friends of friend's who simply believe in this project!

The YouTube Video, which I was less than this kickstarter video link already have over 1,000 hits in the last 3 days and I can't begin to tell you how many incredible CouchSurfers are writing e-mails to me asking how they can help/be a part of this film... and I am telling you they range from high-powered lawyers who want to produce seeking something "more out of life", graphic designers, web designers, amazing music composers, people with equipment, interesting characters, and most importantly, people who are willing to help fundraise and pass on the word!!
