WHAT IS ENIGMA:
The short film ENIGMA, is about a young computer hacker who possesses psychic abilities. With very little recollection of his past, he notices that he’s been targeted by an evil entity after being approached by a mysterious girl. With her help, Derrick escapes the life threatening entity and learns the truth about his past but is far beyond what he had ever imagined. The only thing that’s holding me back from making this film is Funding. Food, travel, permits; props are all the things that are necessary for this film, which is why we need your help!
YOUR HELP:
My team and I have had some real success making ultra low-budget short films but now we want to take this film to the next level. Extremely passionate about Enigma I believe that this film is deserves professional-level production values, which is why we totally need your help! The Enigma team is calling on you cinematic soldiers to help make this project come to life. Your pledge will go towards camera accessory and equipment rentals; attentive production design, like props and wardrobe; location permits; travel and fuel; Making sure our wonderfully talented crew is fed; and the many other miscellaneous costs of making a film. THE DIRECTOR:
Ryan Halasz, Based in New York and Los Angeles, Ryan Halasz is a director and filmmaker. He has worked with various music artists and directed many short films, some of which can be found on his website.
Having a background in photography definitely complements Ryan's style of directing. "A sense of mood is definitely present in his work," says Steve Doueck of the Jersey Shore Film Festival, which recently screened his short film "Portrait."
