The End of the World As We Knew It had successful screenings around the Cleveland area and received warm praise from the critics. We have wanted to make the film available on DVD for people who have requested copies and we have been hard at work preparing special features for the DVD. One of the major hold ups was music rights issues, which we are happy to say have been agreed upon but due to bills and other financial issues that come up from time to time, I have not been able to pay the record labels the funds needed at this time (the agreement in which we can keep costs low, is that we can only print 700 copies of the film). Also the cost of printing DVD's will also prove to be difficult at times, So here is our plan, we recently found Kickstarter, and love what they are doing. To keep this movie fully in the independent spirit in which it was made, we are setting this up as sort of a pre-order page for the DVD! So we have set up small increments in which people can donate to the cause of getting the film released on DVD.. For $5 dollars You get your name in the Thank You section in the credits! For $10 dollars you get name in the credits and the DVD! For $15 dollars you get your name in the credits, the DVD, and a limited edition 11 x17 poster of the film! Finally, for $20 dollars you get everything plus a CD of original music from the film! Now for additional copies of the film that are made, we are happy to announce we are giving the proceeds to local arts non-profits!
