Hey Bill (and anyone else who did not get one) we sent out an email on the 31st with a link to download the PDF. It should have come from my co-founder Sarah Rich.

If you did not receive it, please message me privately and I'll send you the link.

Hey Sarah, sorry to take so long replying. This slipped past me somehow. (Likely because I am scattered). But you are correct, you *do* get a print copy with $25. Plus we'll list you as a sponsor online, plus you get electronic copies of issues one and two.

yep! i figured it was the case that the rewards were referring to the as-yet-unpublished mag. just checking.

another clarity question: for the $25 reward does "send you an issue of the magazine" and "you get all of the above" mean that at that level you get a print copy?

I'm helping produce a big event on July 31st, so I can't participate, but happy to chip in even if it's just a little! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

      Hi Sarah,

You're right this is very confusing! I'll try to clarify this on the page. But yes, the first issue, published under a different name that we got in legal hot water about, was confusingly numbered issue zero. The next issue, and first issue titled as Longshot, was issue one. This upcoming one will be issue two of Longshot (although it's technically our third release).

So, at the $1 level, we'll send you issue one. At $5, you get both. We can no longer distribute issue zero. Does that clear things up?

this is just a clarity thing. i'd previously bought the last issue, Comeback, which at the time I thought was the second issue. i believe that's the one you refer to in the video as the second mag and the one that lost money. but all the text on the site refers to this new mag you're raising funds for as the second one. though i know there was a renaming since the first magazine wasn't actually called Longshot.

maybe a line on the project page to clarify things? when i initially read through it and watched the video, i assumed all the rewards referred to backers receiving the previous issue as the reward but you're almost certainly referring to the as-yet-unwritteen-and-unpublished mag being the reward. (right?)
