About this project
This February, EMP Collective will make its Washington, DC premiere with (…and you’re just not good enough) as part of the Fresh Produce Festival of Live Art at The Fridge, DC. (…and you’re just not good enough) examines the destruction and development of the human psyche through various forms of rejection. The production dissects and derides our insatiable need for acceptance and celebrates serial solitude.
(...and you’re just not good enough) is devised from original artist submissions ranging from poetry to film to theatre, movement, music and visual art.
With your help, these singular pieces can culminate in a larger, social art event.
Our Kickstarter campaign is essential to making (...and you’re just not good enough) a reality. Even the smallest contribution can help EMP pay for:
- Theater rental fees
- Art Supplies
- Set and Prop building materials
- Film and development costs
- Printing and shipping costs
- Marketing costs
