Today is our first day in the studio (at Scott Wiley's June Audio) and we are so excited! We're recording Corners and Penumbra first and it's already going swimmingly.

As of this past Sunday (the 21st) our project is officially funded! We are so grateful your support of this project and love for our music. I truly can't thank you enough, although I will try. For a little reference, here's a picture of Scott's face right after we received the first donation, which was $2,000 dollars! We've only gotten more excited since.
Before we had practice on Tuesday, Scott, Ciera and I went to Rubio's and talked about what we want to do as a band. Having already surpassed our $6,000 goal, we're looking into fuller string arrangements and thinking of new ideas for this album. We can't wait to share our ideas with your ears.
That said, please continue to let your friends know about us. Tweet this project, write about it on your blog, float a bottled message in the ocean. Your efforts have been amazing, and again, we are incredibly grateful. If I could, I'd bake you cookies for the rest of your life.

Dear friends,
It has literally been 16 hours since I launched this project at 7:28 pm last night, and we are already over a third of the way to reaching our goal. I never would have believed that this much support would come so quickly. I know I speak for the rest of the band when I say that we are so, so grateful.
That said, thank you so much for caring about this project as much as we do. We are so excited to record these songs with the emotion and beauty that we're hoping to convey. Please tell your friends about us if you think they'd be willing to help. If we ever meet (or meet again), I will give you the biggest hug my arms can give.
