About this project
During the Renaissance, it was not unusual for the patrons of an artist to be immortalized within the artist's paintings. My next crowd painting, the largest I have ever done, will portray 40-50 Kickstarter patrons and will be in oil paint on a 6 x 9 foot canvas.
If you pledge $30 or more please send at least TWO photographs of yourself to mail@emilygrenader.com with the following restrictions:
Photos for the painting should be as if you are outside in a big crowd. Please don't look directly into the camera. Photos should include your shoulders, try to capture your whole body from waist up. Feel free to send more than two from different distances and angles. Please send the highest resolution possible.
OR
If you happen to be in or near Houston, TX schedule to come by my studio to pose for the painting in lieu of sending photographs.

HOLIDAY GIFT
Give a unique gift --put a friend's portrait into a giant crowd painting.
Any pledge ($30-100) can be given as a holiday gift, and on December 16th I will send the gift recipient a handmade card explaining the project. When the painting is done, I will send another card with an image of the painting. You, the gift-giver, can decide if I should send the other parts of the reward to you or the gift recipient. Make sure to specify in a message to me that the pledge is a gift.
