About this project
A zine wherein music inspires writing which inspires art. Every copy is unique. Any extra money raised will go straight to the next issue of the zine!
The process:
1) I send out a detailed prompt that forces my writers to listen to music. They write a short story (150-200 words) based on their musical inspiration and send it in to me.
2) I write out all of the stories on my dear typewriter. I make xeroxes of each story.
3) I hand out these xeroxes to artists. One artist gets one full copy of the zine, and illustrates (more like responds to) the stories. Each copy is done by a different artist. One artist = one entire issue of the zine = a different version of Muster entirely.
4) I make copies of the stories and art, and I add something special to make each zine unique, and then it's all done.
