Update #9: SITE LAUNCH!
Hello!
I wanted to send you all a huge, heartfelt Thank You for your support, encouraging words and love throughout the year. This morning (yep, exactly one year from the day we met our Kickstarter goal) we launched the new, interactive, multimedia exhibition of Embodiment: A Portrait of Queer Life in America! It's still a little rough around the edges but we are sure proud of it, and proud to have you all by our side. Stick with us as we share new faces and stories throughout the year...that's 18 short films and over 80 photographs and personal statements to be exact! ;)
You'll notice that you're all listed as sponsors on our Thank You page. ...but I'll say it again and again. THANK YOU. Without your generosity none of this would be possible.
LOVE, Molly and Amelia.

Lastly - We have just 5 days left on our Kickstarter campaign!
Do you know someone - a friend or colleague - who would be willing to match your donation dollar for dollar? Do you know people who are interested in making a tax deductible donation or owning a print? We are trying to raise another $2,000 in the next 5 days so that we can add one more state to the project!

Update #5: WE MADE IT!
Dear Friends,
We're writing to let you know that last week we reached our goal of $10,000 and have since surpassed it! We're currently sitting at $10,518!
We really want to thank all of you who donated and all of you who sent comments and emails out to your friends - this project really is a success because of word-of-mouth.
We also wanted to let you know that your prizes will be in the mail after the end of the campaign on July 6th, and that in the meantime people can still donate to Embodiment.
Having reached our initial target, we're now aiming to double it in the 48 days left. If we can achieve this, we'll be able to hit the road again and record stories on the east coast and catch up with some people we missed last time including a gay student prom, a gay rodeo, the Pink Pistols gun club and a deaf society in Arkansas.
To be a true national portrait - Embodiment needs more voices, more stories, and more diversity of content.
We'll be doing a big media push next week - please let us know if you'd like a press release or if you know of any media outlets / blogs / radio shows in your area that might want to do a story on Embodiment.
We've already made our goal but there is so much more we can do.
Thanks so much for your support, your kind feedback, your ongoing time and energy - it means the world to us.
Love,
Molly & Amelia xo
