About this project

Here's the plan! For years, you've said that I need an album. Even after my band, Between Liberties, released our debut album, you've wanted to hear the songs I'd been playing in coffeehouses and friends' homes for years. Favorite covers and early originals have gotten dusty while I've been working on expanding my musical horizons. But they are not forgotten, and I think the new originals are opening up rather nicely.

I've started doing some recordings at home, and I'd like to share them with you. But there are costs insurmountable for me at the moment to make the kind of album you deserve.

& Holy Holidays! I do have a whole bunch of stuff - CD's, posters, knicknacks, art, toys, books, and more - as well as plenty of art supplies (thanks, student loans!). So, everyone that donates between now and New Years Eve day has the chance to win a gift from my home. I'll also post exclusive coverage of the album-making process, including video, mp3's and brand new lyrics!

Every little bit goes a million miles in the world of an underground musician. The minimum I'm setting out to raise is $2,800. This alone will cover the cost of instrument improvements, studio equipment and printing a limited edition album. If I make it up to $5k, I can meet a lot more of the costs involved with printing the albums, studio time, etc. I'm sure you know there will be an awesome celebration at my place for backers if I can make it to the 5k-mark! When was the last time you were at a listening party with three floors of music and fire-spinning out back?
