Oh my, hello!

Regalia earned a grand total of $13,918!  (!!!)  Thank you so much!  My gratitude is simply beyond words- if I could make you a breakfast spread with fancy eggs and kobe bacon and ambrosia juice, I would do that too.  With your support, this has truly become a dream project and the book is going to be absolutely marvelous.  I can't thank you enough!

So What happens next?

Right now I'm busily gathering quotes and samples for bigger, better printing options.  The book will definitely be in hardcover and you will be getting a bonus sketch bookmark among other goodies.  I will send out another update when everything is decided.  I'll also be contacting each pledge group to discuss signings, sketches, paintings, and how you would like to be credited in the acknowledgements. 

In the next month I will be finishing up the book design and sending final files to the printer.  I'm also going to produce an e-reader version, which you will be getting for free!  Expect it to arrive in your inbox at the end of September.

I'm planning a book release party for late November/early December and I would love to combine it with a gallery show featuring all of your soon-to-be drawings, paintings, and comic pages.  I think it would be a fantastic way to show off the depth of the Kickstarter campaign and bring some of your personality into the spotlight.  After all, you're a big part of this book now!  What do you think?
