About this project
My producer and I have 14 songs ready for recording. We have access to a professional recording studio locally. My producer/engineer has worked with Marvin Gaye, Motown Studios, Iron Butterfly and Wild Cherry. My vocal director sang backups for Stevie Wonder. I have had many years of experience in the music business as a singer/songwriter. My last album "Live It On The Outside" has sold online and at many Mid-Atlantic region spiritual centers and churches. It is available at my website.
We plan to hire studio musicians ($25.00/hr. X 2 hrs./song X 3 musicians X 14 songs = $2100.00) and we have renegotiated their rate. We plan rent time at The Tune Room ($30.00/hr. X 10 hrs./song X 14 songs = $4200.00) in Wilmington, DE. and we have opted to buy block time at a reduced rate. My webmaster plans on marketing the new album on my website through Amazon and iTunes, as well as most of the other online distributors and PPC marketing ($2500.00). The total for the project is $8,800.00. Based on this figure, the charges for Amazon would be $440.00 and Kickstarter fees would be $440.00 for a fee total of $880.00. the Grand total needed is $9,680.00.
The money will be used for payment of studio time, studio musicians and online distribution and marketing. Thank you for considering my project and may God bless you!

Elizabeth May is a singer as well as a guitarist and pianist. In her 20's she moved to Philadelphia and became a session musician/background vocalist and demo singer at Veritable Records (VRC Studios) in Pennsylvania. She has performed in Philadelphia and Los Angeles solo, with local bands and session work. She now lives and performs locally in Delaware.
