Today it arrived after tax procedures also here in Germany.
Just updated the firmware. Works with reading the manual without problems.
All seems well, I will try timelpase next days. But not so well is, that there is no PDF manual at the homepaghe. I would like one to print it out in very small format.

As a novice photographer I would find a webinar where you step through the basics of firmware updates and Timelapse+ basic instruction very helpful. Is that something that could be scheduled?

In case you're still online I'm currently taking another timelapse. It's longer than 10,000 frames and I know in the manual it specifies setting it to 0 for infinity. When I set it to 0 it just took 0 pictures though, so is it possible to select 19,999 frames? I'll be able to answer my own question in a few hours when I check up on the device, although I thought I might of been limited to 10,000 pics for whatever reason.

@Pakojo - you'll want to upgrade the firmware anyway, so that they're different versions doesn't matter. As for the one with the screen problem, sorry it has a problem! You'll need a replacement. For all support issues, please use http://support.timelapseplus.com rather than comments, kickstarter messages or emails -- it greatly helps me provide better support and not have things fall through the cracks. Thanks!

Hey Elijah! Took my first timelapse the other day, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch… 20 seconds longs, 630 photos from 3:15pm-5:15pm taken at Trent University (ON, Canada). Took a picture every 10 seconds. Look forward to trying out some of the other features, had a bit of trouble with the firmware update but hopefully I can figure things out ok :)

I am not asking how to connect the TL+ to the camera with the cable, that I know how to do, but how to "attach" the TL+ to the camera. Should have used the word "attach" before, sorry.

    15. N728076073_450405_9651.small

Creator Elijah Parker on November 14, 2012

@Tom, yes, it connects to the camera via the camera adaptor cable, assuming your camera supports a remote shutter release cable. Otherwise there's IR. Not all devices have bluetooth -- it was an option that about 80% chose. Yours does have bluetooth. Most of them didn't have firmware that supported the bluetooth at the time of shipping, but the current release does.

I'm trying to decide if I have a loose connection in the cable socket. Seems like it works when the cable is rotated one way, but not another. I shall continue experimenting, and use both ends of the cable, to see if there is a pattern.

    22. N728076073_450405_9651.small

Creator Elijah Parker on November 9, 2012

@Alex -- could be in need of replacement, but what you can try first is giving it a squeeze in the center above the screen (to re-seat the LCD connection). This might fix it permanently or temporarily; in the latter case we'll get you a replacement.

Creator Alex Moss on November 9, 2012

Mine has arrived but I cant read the screen, anything I'm missing here, or is this one a repair job?

Creator Elijah Parker on November 8, 2012

@Mark -- all confirmed addresses have been shipped. There were about 20 where there might have been some confusion where they had logged in, probably saw their address was correct, but didn't actually check the box confirming the address. You're in that group -- I realize that would happen easily. We're treating those as confirmed and sending them out tonight. After that we'll continue to ship to the remaining 140 unconfirmed addresses without waiting any longer for confirmation.

      Good Day Elijah,

I am writing this in hopes to start dialog regarding the Bulb Ramping feature. Once you have cleared the hurtle of getting the units produced and shipped I would like to speak in depth about the ramping needs of the timelpase community. I'm coming from over a year of "The Little Bramper" experience and I would like to share my thoughts. There are many Intervalometers out there with similar feature of the Timelapse+ but I believe a well implemented ramping feature can set it apart. I would like to see more that ramping from one shutterspeed to another over X amount of time. Being able to do aperture jumping effectively requires a lens profile that a user can enter F/stop variations between aperture settings (Its different for every lens and focal length). I have dialed in 3 of my lenses and have a chart I work off when aperture stepping. I have a few ideas to smoothly implement features to facilitate this. Thank you for your time and I hope this is as big of a priority for others as it is for me.

      Thanks

      Scott K.

      Hi there!

@Elijah: I've also backed the radian project. I'm curious whether the two products could "play together" via the Timelapse+'s auxiliary port? What exactly are the specifications of the aux port? The 2 products have different strengths and using them together makes sense (I think, otherwise, I'm just a compulsive KS backer :-) )
