Electric Youth and their band will bring dynamic Fourth of July entertainment- Pop, Rock and Broadway- to US troops and their families
OUR PROJECT
Electric Youth has been invited to headline the entertainment for the FOURTH OF JULY celebration at Aviano Air Force Base in Italy! EY will bring a little bit of America to the U.S. troops and their families stationed at Aviano with a dynamic show featuring 13 talented young performers backed by an eight-piece band of Boston's best musicians. The shows include Pop, Classic Rock, Country, Swing and Contemporary Broadway with unique arrangements and dynamic choreography.
THE TOUR
EY will be on tour in Europe June 15 - July 8, starting in Vienna with four concerts in Austria in Obergrafendorf, Wildon, St. Polten and Mattersburg. We then head to Italy for ten more shows in the Adriatic resort towns of Lignano and Bibione as well as in Umbria; closing the tour at Lake Como.
YOUR SUPPORT
We are fundraising to cover the costs of including AVIANO AIR FORCE BASE on our tour! Aviano has invited Electric Youth to perform on the Fourth of July as part of the Independence Day celebration at the Base (actually they invited us BACK - Electric Youth has performed several times for the Fourth of July at Aviano Air Force Base, Camp Ederle in Vicenza and Camp Darby in Livorno)!
Although the Electric Youth performers are not paid, the professional musicians touring with us are. For every concert, we have to cover our payroll, travel costs and a percentage of the overall expenses of the tour including airfare, equipment, technical staff, musical arrangements and rehearsals.
If we raise more than our goal, we will use the funds to replace, repair and enhance our touring equipment that stays in Europe in preparation for our next European concert tour in 2014!
