Train Wreck in Progress, an arts podcast in Phx, AZ, is presenting a huge Halloween bash with stories & songs for adult ears only

The first LIVE event presented by Train Wreck in Progress Podcast (TWiP Podcast), an arts audio podcast in Phoenix, AZ. This event (working title is TWiP at the Trunk Space: an evening of Stories and Songs for Adult Ears Only) will be recorded and released as TWiPs Halloween episode on Monday, October 15th.
TWiP at the Trunk Space will take place on Saturday, October 13th. We will have storytellers, songwriters, short performances from the Orange Theater Group (an experimental theater company in Phx), a DJ, and hopefully a band. There will also be a costume contest, and a live pianist to help make this thing run like a radio play (since it's an audio podcast, I thought that format would be not only appropriate, but awesome).
Funding:
Trunk Space (anything-goes venue on Grand Ave in Phx) rental is only $150. If/when we go OVER $150, that money will go towards performers and other preparations. So far, the performers have agreed to donate their time. So far, we have only booked professionals, so this is very, VERY generous of them. They all deserved to be paid.
Hey, Podcast People, why aren't you paying for this? It's only $150USD! Train Wreck in Progress is funded solely by me, Elizabeth, the founder/host/editor/social meda gal. I don't get paid and do this simply to provide insight into the creative process/provoke discussion. Plus, I get to meet a boatload of really cool people. I will be shelling out for the rewards (special posters for backers, a crapton of stamps & lovely stationary, and T-shirts) and extra promotional materials.
