ABOUT EITHER | OR
EITHER | OR is the first feature film by Justin Rigby, starring August Urbish, Travis York and John Greiner. We are currently seeking funds to help us promote the efforts of everyone involved in the production. This involves renting a theater for a premiere screening and distribution of press and promotion materials.
This film is about an unnamed man who agrees to participate in a challenge broadcast on the Internet by a wealthy businessman, Lucky. As the challenge unfolds, the man learns that Lucky is not exactly who he says he is, and the cash prize comes with a price.
This film is the result of extreme hard work and sacrifices of an amazing cast and crew. Justin Rigby, the creator, cinematographer, and director of EITHER | OR, wrote, storyboarded, and scouted the locations for the past six months with Bonnie Choi working as his long-time producer. August Urbish stars as Man, Travis York as Lucky, and John Greiner as The Assistant.
Principle production took place in Manhattan, NY, during the weekday evenings and weekends, as all involved still have day jobs. Currently, EITHER | OR is in the post production, and we are planning to have the New York premiere in early November 2011.
FUNDS FROM KICKSTARTER
Primarily, the funds we hope to acquire through Kickstarter will go to promoting the efforts of everyone involved with the film.
First, we are planning to rent a theater in New York City the premiere. For about two hours rental, the premiere will include a screening of EITHER | OR and an introduction from the filmmakers and actors. Also, film critics, journalists, colleagues, supporters, and kickstarter backers will be invited. Additionally, various promotional materials will be provided such as press releases, post cards, invitations, and film posters to be distributed before and after the premiere.

Project By
Connected as Either Or
Justin Rigby, originally from Peru, Illinois, studied film at the University of Notre Dame, where he made several short films in addition to studying film history and theory. Upon his graduation in 2005, he moved to New York where he freelanced on the production units of various commercial films all while continuing to write and make films that are more experimental than his work as a student. These films represent Rigby’s exploration of various camera and editing techniques and serve as studies for larger, narrative-based works both current and upcoming. One of which is Either | Or, Rigby’s first feature film from a screenplay he wrote that wrapped production in the summer of 2011. That film is currently in post production with a release planned for mid-November.
