About this project
Fable:
In this timeless, storybook style adventure, a young man grows tired of his average hometown and decides to explore the world. He says goodbye to his parents, and embarks on an adventure that will change his life forever. But when he comes back home to tell his friends and family all of his incredible experiences, things are not at all as he had left them..
Production:
Fable finished production on February 20th. Working through Emerson College, Mandy.com, NewEnglandFilm.com, and the ProArtsConnect.com, Fable utilized Boston (and surrounding areas) to include students and professionals from Berklee, MassArt, and several production houses to make this film a reality. Although a short film, Fable speaks to a wide audience in the same breath as a Pixar, Disney, or Tim Burton animated film does. This being said, your help will complete the process so that this movie can reach that audience.
Post-Production:
Currently we are using 3D tracking software (BouJou/AfterEffects) to stabilize our green screen footage. As that is being done, our animators are creating the Fable universe with Maya, RealFlow, Blender, and others. Stills coming soon!
Why we are here:
We would like to raise $5000 to complete the post-production of our film. We just completed shooting but since we shot this this movie on film, the cost to finish exceeds our budget. This is where Kickstarter comes in.
With the money that we make through Kickstarter, we will be able to:
1. Obtain finishing funds to see out the completion of the film.
2. Attend film festivals to promote Fable.
3. Seek sponsorship.
4. Meet with potential distributors.
5. Begin the process to gain entry into the 2012 Student Academy Awards.
The end product will be revolutionary for Emerson College; combining film, animation, and visual effects to make the best movie possible.

I am a student at Emerson College in Boston. My specialty is producing digital & new media. I maintain that I am constantly learning to make myself a better professional. I live by this mission statement: Inspiring people by encouraging passionate networking in every pursuit. Raised in the Midwest (Des Moines, IA), I came to Boston hoping to get out and make a difference. I hope to do that with every project, assignment, task that I take on. Currently I am working on two major projects now: National Broadcasting Society sponsored Fable (Executive Producer) and Love, Laundry, and the Apocalypse (1st Assistant Director).
