About this project
We are asking for your help in presenting the 2011 Chicago Guitar Festival. We will be bringing in some of the best guitar virtuosos from around the globe to the bustling metropolis of Chicago.
The funds
raised will go towards the various costs associated with bringing in so
many high caliber, known virtuosos. These costs include but are not
limited to the artists travel, lodging and fees.

The Chicago Guitar Festival is Chicago’s annual celebration of the guitar, taking place
throughout October 5th - 9th in Chicago, IL. All Chicago Guitar Festival events will be
hosted at venues and halls around the bustling metropolis of Chicago.
We are aiming to be more than just another niche music festival. With our multiple stages and venues we’ve created an atmosphere that anyone could wander into and find something worthwhile. Rather than catering to a specifically predetermined classical or flamenco crowd, the Chicago Guitar Festival has a wide range of guitar focused music to appeal to everyone.
Our goal is to to provide a fun environment where everyone feels at home.
