Eggs have started shipping!
Happy New Years everyone!
Eggs have started shipping! I want to applaud the amazing efforts of Vic Aprea and Dirk Swart of Wicked Device. They are both at Wicked Device headquarters in Ithaca, New York. They are working hard and spending every spare minute they have to get these Eggs to you. It will still take some time to get all the Eggs out, so here are some images of their progress. For any additional inquiries, please e-mail: egg@sensemake.rs
Cheers,
Albert

Sensor up a CITY. Let's do a big rally to kick it off. We'll come with 100 Air Quality Eggs, run a clinic, do some talks about sensing/science/community, have an exchange of ideas. Our travel is included to anywhere in US/Europe. 100 people will take home Eggs. Instant critical mass. This is a great way for corporations who want to sponsor this project to get involved, either to give back to the community or engage their own employees in the movement.
Estimated delivery: Aug 2012

Yep, I think most of us are still waiting... still love the project, but jeeze... this has been a long time now.
Creator Cam MacDuff on March 14
Anyone else still waiting for their egg+sensors like me?
Creator James on March 7
I would have to so you haven't gotten to Texas as of this date (7-MAR-2013) no egg. :-(
Creator Andy Powell on February 15
Mine finally arrived today. Took 4 weeks and 1 day, delivered to UK. Always nice to back an environmental project that can give you cancer. I'm off now to try and flash it to replace the untested code on shipped devices.
Anyone want to buy my egg? You'll probably get cancer but hey.. For Science!
Creator James on February 13
Good to know they are still shipping, have you gotten to Texas orders? :-)
Creator Andra Waagmeester on February 9
Got mine today. Yay? Not really. This is such a nice example of a bunch of bunglers trying to make a better world. The box is just as is, no documentation, only a letter making sure they are not liable. US plugs, whereas we paid extra for shipping to Europe. What effort does it take to provide other then US plugs. They don't take any responsibility for their product. If the device is defective it is apparently mainly my problem. I will even have to pay it being fixed. I will install it and see where it goes, but I don't have any confidence at all in the output. Looking how the founders manage the project, their inability to deliver on time, their desire to not be hold responsible for defective units at all, then how valuable are the reading from the device. Trying to make a better world is one thing, but even sustainability requires quality control and quality assurance. O yes you also get a warning the device is known for causing cancer and birth defects, nice! So I buy a product to create a sustainable world, but the plastic contains cancerous products. The letter states that it is made in the USA, but the hardware itself has "made in China" all over the place.
Again, with so many lies and false promises from the start, how can I trust the data from the devices?
Creator Celestino Galan Couto on February 7
any news about mine?
Creator Andy Powell on February 4
I've had an email saying my egg was shipped on the 17th January. How have you sent them? I've heard nothing since and we're in the 3rd week after it was posted.
Creator Ladislav Strojil on February 4
Hi, I take it back, I just found out that the package has been withheld by the customs.
Creator Ladislav Strojil on February 3
Hi, I still have not received mine, should I start to get worried or are the eggs being sent out in batches? I am in Czech Republic. Thanks.
Creator Michel on January 29
I don’t yet received mine in France while I received today (01/29/2013) another project reward sent the 01/19/2013 by USPS First Class Mail!
Creator Glen Ivey on January 15
I echo Gavin's question. I got my egg today! (Yay!) And it connected up instantly. (Congrats & thanks.) But only the "base" egg was in the box. I originally pledged for all the extra sensors. Will these be in a follow-up shipment for everyone, or should I worry that something got confused about my pledge/rewards?
Thanks again--glen

@Gavin Additional add-on sensors will come with the Eggs. For now, we are working on fulfilling the Kickstarter rewards before taking on more orders. Check out Wicked Device (wickeddevice.com) as future sensors and kits will be updated there. Thanks!
Creator Gavin Chester on January 3
OOp's should have added how can we add more sensors to the ones we have already?
Creator Gavin Chester on January 3
Will any additional sensors ordered come in the same box?
Creator Cam MacDuff on January 3
