Kickstarter

Today Feb 24 2012 in Providence RI at 8:30am I woke up to find freezing rain and a light snow dusting the ground, this is no surprise as it's still February here in RI. The real shock is that yesterday it was nearly 60 degrees and sunny, this roller coaster weather pattern has been really confusing for many including our garden as most of our bulbs which we planted this fall are starting to poke out of the ground thinking it's spring and summer is coming. 

The past 4 years this small patch of land has experienced a similar action, with a lot of effort going into cleaning, organizing, and building but then structure falls apart and the garden and land suffers, including wild life who enjoy the small green space in the city. With the support of people from around the world who have supported this project on Kickstarter has given our small group of Chefs, Nutritionist and farmers the warm feeling of support.

With this warm loving support we are actively pushing to start working on this new Urban Farm creating new structure, we have set a new goal for this Project to reach $4,000.00 which is only 121.00 from our reach. The extra 1,300.00 will allow us to get a jump start on items we did not expect to start working on which include planting fruit trees, and working with local artist and the Autobahn Society to design and build bird houses, and use the land to educate Youth. 

With only 3 days left, we would like to thank all of our supporters who have supported us for the past 30 days. We've attached a picture below of the land from 4 years ago, to show how far the land has come, and with your support the future has a great future. :)
