About this project
The Project has reached its goal!
I am humbled and honored by the network of support making this Kickstarter campaign a success. The Elementals are excited to be traveling to your home to gaze into your eyes. I'm excited to hear what stories will emerge in the unfolding relationship you develop with these beings. There is still time for you to pledge for your deck of Art Cards and explore with us. I am planning to host a series of online meditation and writing groups for those of you with the cards that want to engage with these images in a community of allies. Looking forward to learning more about you in the coming months. Such a blessing this has been for me. Deep bow of gratitude. -thomas

The Earthanima Project seeks to re-enchant the human-earth relationship in a living theater of wonder, mystery and playful engagement. We seek to connect the delight of creative play with a deeper inquiry into meaningful relationships. The Elemental images of Earthanima, expressing a multiplicity of archetypal energies, spark an imaginative response to our kinship with Earth and Other.
Welcome to our Kickstarter campaign. If you haven't seen the latest video, check it out HERE. Thank you for considering a pledge to bring this work more fully into the world.
At the heart of the Earthanima Project are a series of art cards that make up the Elemental Image Deck. Our plan is to make and distribute a high quality deck of 21 art cards. These gorgeous 4x6 glossy cards with rounded corners are an imaginative spark for self-exploration, personal divination and creative social engagement. They are calming and beautiful to gaze upon.
(The cards can be seen HERE.)
The Earthanima Elemental Image Deck will be used in our performances and workshops and will be distributed to facilitators, teachers and interested allies of earth and imagination. The images open a space for playful inquiries into questions of identity, relationship, possibility and purpose. The cards work well as conversation starters in a variety of contexts. (Simple guidelines for using the deck will be available.)
This is the back of the Elemental Cards, a mandala made from a close-up photo of the back of a jellyfish. (The only photoshop manipulation in the Elemental images is the rotation in the mirroring process and sometimes a slight boost of color saturation.)

The Earthanima Project is currently touring a performance and workshop event throughout the United States. Audiences are delighted, inspired and sometimes deeply moved by their interactions with the Elementals. These wise, ancient, imaginal Beings seem to deepen our human-earth relationship and inspire embodied expressions of our true nature. They carry our projections of both shadow and light with a simple grace.
I am interested to hear how these images touch your soul and hope your participation here is the start of an ongoing collaborative relationship. Please drop me a line and share your response. If it's not a good time for you to contribute here I would be delighted if you joined us on the Earthanima Facebook Page and interact with the images there. Thank you for your encouragement and support.
In service to earth, imagination and all of life...
Thank you. -Thomas

"Thomas, I was enthralled at your reveal-ation of these beings! These are archetypes for the new era–each community or person that sees them will find their own resonant meanings, source their own timeless stories; and find inspiration from the stories left behind by others." Tom Murray, Springfield, MA
"Thomas has a remarkable ability to inspire and amaze. My jaw dropped repeatedly at his fluid creativity, daunting skill, compelling imagination, and unerring sense of beauty."
