Meet the Wentworth Family: 

Mary - a suburban mother who likes her husband (but hates his hands) and loves her kids (but recognizes that her parenting skills are lacking) - doesn’t have a word for how she’s been feeling lately.  Henry - a straight-laced workaholic husband and father, insists that the answer to his wife's problems is a new book club. John, a typical fifteen-year-old, is best known for his delinquent antics at school (including the time he got suspended for jumping out of the first-floor window during math class). Jodi is the youngest in the family, and a self-described perfect child. 

Meet the Flynn Family:

Carol is a wine-guzzling trophy wife on a permanent vacation, who constantly suspects her husband (despite any evidence whatsoever) of being unfaithful. Scott is a simple, dry-humored, roll-with-the-punches type, and both husband to Carol and father to Samantha (his daughter from a previous marriage), though the two women are awkwardly close in age. Samantha is a student at Smith College, and is as comfortable with herself as the adults ought to be.

DYSNOMIA chronicles the journey and the aftermath of Mary Wentworth's search for her identity, for a word that describes how she’s feeling.  It isn’t bored.  It isn’t lonely.  It isn’t apathetic.  It’s gay.  The word is gay.

HEY! We've got a new play!  It's called DYSNOMIA, and it's going up at The Lounge Theatre in Los Angeles for a six-week run this summer - beginning July 15th and going through August 21st!

We've been working our butts off.  We have an excellent cast. A brilliant director.  A whip-smart script, and a theater booked.  We're ready, folks. READY!!!  However...

All these things cost money.  Lots o' money.  That's where you, dear friend - yes, you! - come in.  We need donations to reach our fundraising goal by July 1st, and every donation counts, no matter how big or small! 

SO. Our fundraising has officially begun.
