Hypothes.is friends!

99% of our rewards are out.  The last round of stickers went out on Friday.  Just a few rewards remain to be sent--to the top donors--we were short a few things. Thanks for your patience!

We had an extraordinary workshop several weeks ago.  This was an important step for us in getting great design thinking from key leaders in reputation design.  Nearly 50 leading thinkers from Reddit, Stackoverflow, Ebay, Google as well as some of the most cited academics in the field came to San Francisco to help us.  We've put together a highlight reel from it.  Here it is:

We have a request.

Just today, Hypothes.is applied for the Knight News Challenge, one of the largest funding programs for technology projects in and around journalism.  Over the next several months they’ll be awarding a total of $5M to a number of technology projects that propose innovative approaches to solving information and media problems.

We think we’re an excellent fit for this opportunity—but as part of the selection process, they’ve asked that we solicit comments from our supporters on their tumblr site, to help show how many people are behind our concept.

The T-shirts (and everything else) are in, and they look great, as you can see!

We're gearing up to box everything tomorrow.  If you're in the SF area and feel like joining the party for a few hours, let us know.  We'll be serving pizza, beer and whatnot.  Gathering from 12 noon till around 3pm.

Things will ship early to mid next week.

Just a quick update to say that all rewards are now being produced by our wonderful printer Camputee Press here in San Francisco, who is taking care of the T-shirts, Mugs, Stickers and other elements.  We should be shipping towards the end of next week.  I cannot recommend them highly enough if you're in the area and have similar needs.

We have nearly 600 different rewards to ship, so we'll be throwing a party towards the end of next week to box, stuff and otherwise organize everything to be picked up and shipped for delivery.  If you're here in SF and might be interested in coming to help us knock it out, we'd be appreciative.  We'll be ordering a bunch of pizzas and, of course, libations.

Happy New Year!

We recently sent out the poll asking for delivery address, shirt sizes and other information.  Approximately 2/3 of you have now responded!  Thank you!

I know we're just coming out of New Year's holidays, but please help us by completing the poll so we can make good on fulfillment over the next several weeks.

It's an intriguing phenomenon that it seems like we'll end up with substantially less than 100% of donors providing information that lets us deliver our rewards.  This means we'll have to just draw a line fairly soon and send things out.

Our designs are finished and the shirts and other materials will be printed later this week.  We're looking forward to getting them to you!

Also, the deadline for Fellows applications for the Reputation Modeling workshop we're throwing in February is officially tomorrow.  We've already started receiving early applications, and are looking at a tremendous event with many leaders in reputation modeling already having confirmed their attendance, including Karl Aberer, Chris Dellarocas, Paul Resnick, Luca De Alfaro, Marko Rodriguez, Steven Tadelis and Craig Newmark.
