Update #3: Project relaunched. Smaller steps
Hi All,
I relaunched the first part of the Art History body painting series project. I broke it down into 3 smaller more achievable projects.
The one I just relaunched is for funding the production of 5 images to be included in the series. Here's the link:

The 2nd one after this will fund the remaining images for the series (I'm guessing 5 more).
The 3rd (last) one will fund the cost for creating and publishing the art book.

Update #1: Degas' "L'Etoile" added to list of pieces to reproduce
Based on votes on my fb page, I will include Edgar Degas' L'Etoile to the list of masterpieces to reproduce as body painting.

Danny Setiawan is an Indonesian born visual artist who combines traditional and digital media in his art.
Danny immigrated to the United States in 1997, and earned his Masters of Fine Arts degree in multimedia from Parsons School of Design in New York in 2003.
In many of his recent works, Danny uses human body as his canvas. Some of his creations, immediately recognizable replications of great paintings of the past, are tributes to his predecessors.
Danny’s work has been featured on TV shows and magazines in the US, Europe and Asia.
Danny currently lives and works in New York City
