Update #3: I'll be back!

Posted on February 27

Happy Monday, dreamSpeakers!

Well, it was a good first-try.  No.  I'm not giving up...or in...just stating the obvious.

I didn't reach my goal this go-round.  I plan to re-group; re-vamp; and then, RE-START my fundraising project here on kickstarter!  I'll be back with Round II by week's end (or very soon after)!  :)

Thank you, all, for your support!  The dream lives!  So, please continue to spread the word!

Update #2: Only 7 days left...*biting my nails*

Posted on February 20

Hello, dreamSpeakers!

And THANK YOU, all, for your support and pledged donations!  I truly appreciate you for believing in me...in my vision.

Considering the fact that I'm 7 days away from the end of this fundraiser and haven't even made it to the thousands, I'm preparing myself for the worst.  But...I do believe in miracles!  I do, I do, I DO believe in miracles!  So, I'm moving full-steam ahead, balls to the wall!

Please SPREAD THE WORD about dreamSpeak Literary Magazine and the fundraiser!  I can't do this without you!

I refuse to quit.  The dream lives!

Connected as Nariscia Dede Lott (319 friends)

I was raised in Indianola, Mississippi - the Delta. Born with a severe case of idiopathic scoliosis, I attribute my creativity and storywriting talent to stubbornness and a vivid imagination.

When I'm not working as an administrative professional in the corporate world, I am busy writing my 2nd book, honing my graphics design skills, and revealing way too much about myself and my life on my blog at www.cocoabrown.wordpress.com.

My mother once told me that writing was a hobby...not something that I could do to sustain myself in the world. I know she meant well, but I really wish someone had been there to encourage me to go for it! Now that I'm an adult, I want to be that "someone" for young creatives who may be searching for their place in the world.
