dreamSpeak Literary Magazine (dSLM) was created entirely for young writers, photographers, graphic artists, and poets.
dreamSpeak Literary Magazine (dSLM) inspires, motivates, and uplifts young people by providing a platform for them to express themselves creatively.
Created entirely for children, teens, and young adults, dSLM will rely on submissions from young writers, photographers, graphic artists, and poets. Categories for submission will include: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, comics, photography, interviews, paintings, digital art, and dreamSparks (writing prompts).
Writing is my passion. Two years ago, I self-published my first book, Weepin' Willa: A Collection of Short Stories. Having accomplished this life-long goal of mine, I wondered what would have happened had my passion been nurtured earlier in life. I wondered where I'd be right now if, as a youth, I had found a place where I could be my creative self and share my art with the world...a place like dreamSpeak Literary Magazine.
Please help me to foster the creative passion of our youth by making a donation to this project. With your help, the very first print issue of dSLM will be published in April 2012.
