Go my Vinyl!!! it's great! Awesome bonus track!!! :)
"//RELEASE DATE: The record should be expected no less than one month but no more than two months after the goal is met!" I'm thinking 5 months sounds more like when it will actually arrive. Good thing huh?
Last I heard from Dreamover was a week ago. The album was remastered the plates have been molded and it's going into production. It's still going to be a bit because the record has to be pressed, I assume the packaging has to be done, and then it has to all get shipped to him before he can send it to us. I can assure you this is legit and is happening. The records were remastered and had to be done from the ground up which if done proper is a long process.
It's highly likely that the pressing isn't even finished yet. Grasshopper you've got to be patient. It is real. If you have any more questions you could quite possibly contact dreamoverrecords.com.
Anyone have the vinyl?
this is real?
if anyone hasn't pledged yet, this is the only way to get the kickstarter-exclusive color. Thanks for all the support! We'll have a big update very soon!
Woo! We did it!
Crimson red would be a cool color....or 180g black.
It would be a nice presentation if the vinyl was a completely different but complementary color, something like a dark, almost muddy red maybe. Then, tie all three colors together on the label. I have no idea how much multi-colored labels add to the project cost though.
I'm personally just pumped to see this get a vinyl release.
I'll be ordering the 8 track for sure!
As far as colors, I'm talking with the plant right now about possible colors we can do. I'll pick 3-5 and you guys can start voting on them, once we meet the goal. Keep in mind, when suggesting vinyl colors, only one plant in the US does splatter/ and half/and half and they are a lot more expensive. i didn't want to compromise the quality of the release or make the price/pledges way higher. The plant has already said no brown, because they've tried to do a brown mix, and they haven't come out brown at all. Vinyl plants all have different stock colors and have to mix them to get custom colors. When they have to mix, no two records look the same.
So what I should've said was, use the comments to "suggest" colors. Once July 10 rolls around and funding is successful, I will list a bunch of colors the plant can do and we can begin voting until i receive the tests.
Thanks for all the support!
I think there should be a poll or something, where we can vote on color choices that would possibly be available. I'm all for records looking cool with splatter and marble but if it can't be done at a specific pressing plant ie not Pirates Press then that's fine with me, don't give him such a hard time. Plus all I care about is getting it on vinyl it could have been all on Black for all I cared.
Please NO splatter or half/half. If we're going to mix colors, a white/tan marble with a black or blue center label might look good. Not sure what color you had in mind for the labels though.
The 8 track copies I'm selling bootleg for 2 bucks a pop... splattered with blue paint.

Regardless, I can't wait to hear "Mexico" on wax. BTW; what are the chance of the record being on 180g?
if i can do some sort of blue with brown haze or blue with brown marble, i will. i'm just not sure they would mix well. but i will request it from the plant.
THIS IS JUST LIKE CHRISTMAS!
This is horseshit. Why have people give their opinion on the color if there isn't any splatter? Almost funny that the favorite color won't be a color anyone has picked. Damn I'm glad I'll be getting 3 color varieties of vinyl I don't like..
hmmm.....blue and brown half/half. haha
i'm all about matching the album artwork. blue and brown don't mix too well though, and i most likely won't be using a plant that does splatter.
blue brown just like the album cover or splatter would be awesome
I agree blue/brown splatter or marble for the kickstarter color would be awesome.
Blue Splatter
the kickstarter color should be blue/brown marble to match the album cover
