Doug Bowles and his SingCo Rhythm Orchestra, a DC/MD-based big band is planning a very exciting series of concerts and a recording of it's once-in-a-lifetime collection of world class arrangements of the Coon-Sanders Original Nighthawks.   We have already amassed the arrangements, which are shockingly exact record transcriptions for the most part and have done one public performance of this exciting and very hot music.  We recently gave a live concert of the music and were praised for our "hot" and "authentic" presentation of this incredible music.   We are seeking assistance in making the music available to a wider audience and to make a professional quality recording of this very skilled orchestra doing authentic performances of a music that has likely not been performed in public in this large a setting and this large a quantity of charts since the time the original band disbanded in 1933.  Your investment will be used for musician fees, venue rental, all associated recording costs, marketing and publicity and potential multi-media presentations to accompany the live concerts.
