Ridiculously silly, one-act play which lovingly spoofs Theatre, Theatre People and Star Trek.

Neo Ensemble Theatre produced this reading in January to hear the show and see audience reactions. It went over very well. The cast was brilliant and the audience stayed afterward to talk about the show. A week later, Neo contacted me to say they wanted to produce it as a live-on-tape New Media production to help develop it further.
Neo Ensemble is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible.
They're committed to producing this as a workshopped production of a new script. They arranged four dates in April, 2012 (Friday and Saturday, the 20th and 21st and the following Friday and Saturday, the 27th and 28th) at the Hudson Theatres in Hollywood.
Renting the theatre space, building some great cheesy sci-fi sets, and creating a few key kick-ass costume pieces costs money. Making the live studio audience a part of the show, lighting the space, and recording it with multiple cameras will all add to the budget. It's an insanely fun show with many laugh-out-loud roles for a large cast of (mostly) women. So we're all hoping to make it look its very best. BONUS: They are also pairing this up with one of my short, comic plays, "Inmate TV," for extra silliness, as well as adding a few last-minute surprises to make it a true interstellar hit.
The show will be performed at the Hudson Theatres in Hollywood, California. 6539 Santa Monica Blvd., (between Highland and Vine) in Hollywood.
