Let me start by first saying hello, and thanks for your interest in my dream.
My Name is Brian (Doktor Holiday), and like many others, I have been a collector, researcher, lover, eater, and breather of boomboxes for a long time now. I'm currently a student of film, and I have started production on my project titled "GhettoBlaster: A Documentary" Ghettoblaster will be a documentary film focusing on the evolution of the portable radio, and how it has effected peoples lives. This film will consist of old school footage, interviews with collectors, artists, and anyone from all walks of life that have in some way been touched by the presence of the boombox, and has their story to tell. My film is about the love of boomboxes, and so many untold stories, and unseen collections from people around the world. This film is my contribution to the love, and appreciation for a item that has changed the lives of people,and has spawned a culture of collectors, historians, and admirers. I have yet to find any other film that covers an in-depth view of this life and culture, so I attend to bring it to life. I've set aside any other commitments and projects to ensure that this film will be highly respected, and well thought out. Again, I want to thank everyone, and welcome any input or advice on this project.(Note) I'm also calling out to any one interested to submit a video (any length) to me that tells your story, or shows off your collection, or a experience you might like to share.Questions like, (What started you collecting?, What are your favorite boxes? Biggest? Baddest? What was it like growing up with boomboxes? Rare Finds? Old footage /Pictures?), are great ideas of my focus. This project is very dear to me, and it has to be represented with a extremely high level of Dopeness...! lol Any video interviews, collection displays, archive footage / photos would be greatly appreciated.This film will not only entertain you, it will take you back to the time and era when the Guy with the Box Rocked the World! Help with Production costs and manufacturing is desperately needed. I have a great editing team dedicated to delivering the best.. PLEASE help me bring this Project to Life!!

Here's a Quick Break Down of How the proceeds will help to See my project live:
4000 will be needed to cover production costs, editing, and rental fees for lighting & certain video equipment. This cost also includes coverage for any travel accommodations that may come about.
3000 would cover the costs of my rewards program. This includes, the cost for Liquid plastic and molding materials for the keychains. Ordering stickers to assemble ghettoblaser sticker packs. Blank cassettes for personal Mixtapes. Cost for Ghettoblaster posters, post cards. Costs for included shipping of all rewards received. Duplication for 3000 ready to ship DVD's of the Film.
1000 will be used in the cost in securing any rights, or permissions that might be needed. (if not needed, the 1000 will be included with funds for more DVD duplication.)
