I am known by most people as "Doc Kazoo" or "The Old Kazoo Maker". I was born and raised in the foothills of Western NC where I was fortunate to be surrounded by a rich atmosphere of bluegrass and folk music and musicians as well as a few instrument makers. This is where I made my first wooden kazoo a half century ago. "The Great Aswego Kazoo Factory" isn't a big fancy company. It's the humble studio workshop of this Old Kazoo Maker. "Doc Kazoo"
