Who are these people and why do they want my money?

We are DumbLuck Productions(click to see our videos), a group of talented young men who simply have a dream of creating and making movies of high quality for the masses to enjoy. Four months ago, we set out to make a comedy documentary, or mockumentary, about zombies. Fast forward to now, after months of rewrites, script and character development, and location scouting, we have geared up to start full production. However, we've hit a speed bump. The location we want to film in will require money to secure, and we'll need complimentary funds to help offset some other, more minor, production costs (i.e. set and costume design, props, etc.). That's where you, the donor, comes in. By making a simple donation, in concordance with the reward you'd like to receive, you'll be helping a group of young men nurture this project into a mature and well-filmed moving picture show that is scheduled to begin filming in July.

What's the movie really about?

Zombies & Tiaras tells the story of Julio Eduardo Suarez during a post-Zombie outbreak era. The Zombie Apocalypse happened in 2013, and instead of being the horror that most believe it will be, they were actually quite tamable. After two years, people have adopted Zombies into their normal life to be something more like pets. Furthermore, a lot of people took to the craze of Zombie pageants to replace the dead hobby of dressing up their toddlers.

Julio's dying father's last wish was for Julio to make him proud and one day win the National Zombie Pageant. So Julio sets off to do just that. He acquires a zombie from behind one of his favorite restaurants, whom he names Alberto. Julio and Alberto quest to Atlanta, GA to make their grand entrance to only find that they are horribly out of their element. Surrounded by a daze of paparazzi, intimidating competitors, and a slew of zombies, Julio debates leaving the pageant. However, before he's had too much, he finds inspiration in the least likely of places...the interviewer who's followed him from his hometown. With a new mindset of courage and a desire to please his father, Julio goes on to compete. The rest of the details will have to remain under raps for you to watch them unfold in the movie.
