Hi Kickstarters!

First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to check out my project! I designed and patented teadrop to simplify the experience of preparing loose-leaf tea. My hope is that teadrop will make loose-leaf tea and all of its health and epicurean benefits accessible to a wider audience. I just need your help to turn teadrop into a reality.

Teadrop is unlike any other device for steeping loose tea. It simplifies the process by integrating a timer and a filter into the same device. With teadrop you don't have to worry about removing the leaves when the timer is up, teadrop will automatically stop steeping the leaves at the right time.

To use teadrop all you need are loose tea leaves, a cup, and hot water; teadrop handles the rest. You simply put your leaves into teadrop, spin the cap to set the timer and place it into a cup of hot water. Teadrop automatically stops the leaves from steeping when the time is up so that your tea is brewed perfectly every time. It even rings to let you know your tea is done. 

When your tea is done steeping you can safely remove teadrop like you would do a teabag, however, you may also leave it in, the choice is yours; your tea will not oversteep regardless of what you do. 

Once teadrop's integrated timer is up it is completely sealed; you can set it down on your table and not have to worry about tea going all over the place. 

Right now, teadrop is ready to be manufactured. I have interviewed several prospective manufacturers and settled on one. I need your help to fund the mould costs and first run of manufacture.
