Hello, Backers!
It's been an exciting week for Victoria & Albert! We have moved closer to some casting news and hope to have an announcement quickly. Production will then be right around the corner. This was a tougher decision than we expected. With so many generous backers the urge to go into production quickly was strong. But it was also at odds with the demand that the casting be right. We decided to defer to casting it right and as we've gotten closer to our Albert, we feel this decision has been vindicated. We think you'll be proud of the end result.
On the more urgent side, we finally started collecting your pledges! This is a far later collection than is the norm for Kickstarter campaigns and we can't apologize enough. Due to a bureaucratic snafu between Amazon and Kickstarter we weren't even informed of the complications until the last seven days. It was actually one of our backers who informed us - not Amazon or Kickstarter! The issues were ultimately fixed and when they were, the turnaround was quick. We're sure you've received an email already.
Many of you have had some changes in your information since your pledge. Please don't worry. We understand completely and understand where the fault lies. When you get a chance please update your info with Amazon and all should be fine. So sorry about the extra effort.
We can't express to you enough how excited we are to be moving forward with this and how grateful we are for your support.
