Hi! I'm back in Treece, continuing to photograph.
The changes to the landscape are mind blowing. Virtually all of the homes in the center of town have been demolished, leaving 40 acres nearly barren.
Yesterday we watched as the Treece water tower was pulled down. It took five men, some blow torches, cables and a backhoe. I took some photos and video, which I will share soon.
Today we are going to record city hall being demolished.
For the rest of the trip, we'll be visiting with former residents, local officials and the few families who elected to stay in Treece.
As always, through Blue Earth Alliance, any donations you make to my project will be tax deductible.
Thank you for your continued support!
