Some more thoughts about Goodsearch: a couple of years ago me and a few other guys managed to raise $35.29 for a certain organization in a handful of months with a peak of $11.00 per month by just using the search engine (easy to switch to Google after each search, if you don't get good results). Now look at how many Facebook fans TSM has: 70,000. One person can easily reach $1 for searches per month so it could be $70,000 in a month for Cottonwood Research Foundation. I don't live in the States, so I can't buy a new computer from Amazon, but a purchase like that going through Goodshop wouldn't be "micro" anymore. Cottonwood was entered into Goodsearch by Strassman himself.

Finally received the DVD and t-shirt (Finland).

It's not dodgy or adsense: it's a way to directly fund Cottonwood's DMT research by doing your regular internet searching and shopping through Goodsearch/Goodshop. The search is crap Yahoo, but they have all the biggest online stores in Goodshop. So next time when you buy something online, remember to go through Goodshop and do the microcharity thing.

hey geo, just out of curiousity did you have you address in on time?

I think we may be some of the last to get the package. There are volunteers that are sending these out to both the KickStarters and just people buying off the website. The producers are on the road. I do know that the poster had to be shipped separately and was stored in the post office. Also because of Christmas time holidays, there would have been a mail traffic jam at customs and the post offices etc.

It would be nice if the producers of this film would post an update on their progress and explain a little about their challenges which I am sure there are some. Remaining silent does no one any good.

Wish mine had come yesterday or three days ago. such a long time to wait...

Guys what is going on? I spent (for a student) alot of money for your project. I had the deep feeling that this community should be one! To fight the fucked up structures and society out there! And I thought you are to be trusted! I still think that I can trust you, you probably got alot of stuff going on but I really need a message of what happened with my 50 bucks?!

Okay, so its a 256 encryption. A user named wikidocs gave part of the password out on youtube.

Why am I juggling with the negative posts? Well, there's only a few of us posting here - so why not more positive feedback. Demis and everybody else waiting for the pot to boil - just do your daily activities and forget about it. And one day you will get the video magic in your mail box and will be blown away. You will see that Mitch and company have put in an enormous effort to RAISE UP people. You will see. Anyways, if you noticed from a backer several comments ago, you will see that Mitch offered to send another DVD in the mail - shortly before the person just received their copy in the mail. It's a bigger project than one might think.

Well, I've submitted a complaint for my money back from Amazon Payments. Thanks Mitch for LETTING DOWN people. I've sent TWO emails and gotten no response. I don't care to hear "wait patiently" - it's been nearly TWO MONTHS and still nothing.

Yeah, I really don't know. I do not really have a good sense of time, so I am not as aware of these things as other people are. And actually, no, I do not have my DVD yet. I said I had, but in reality I had just watched the torrent copy. I warned that it would happen and it did - it's just a free teaser for the full DVD. Plus it will be way better quality on an HDTV. I mentioned Amazon, because there were many credit card errors. I am sure there could me a more efficient set-up for things like this in the future.

SO, I take it you've received your DVD. And why should I blame amazon. THE PICTURES CLEARLY SHOWED Mitch and crew packing and sending goods. As for experience goes, just about every one has bought something off of the internet. Ebay, Amazon, Craigslist (ETC) ALL give a shipping notification AND proper instructions. I'm just upset because I backed this flick from the beginning, saw it in the theater, met Mitch, and feel a little PERSONAL SERVICE would be nice. Not a form letter, vaguely saying "we may OR may not have your address...we may OR may not have shipped your order."C'MON! they have my email...be specific.

It is amusing to me that we all expect professional distribution from a handful of really busy people that have never done something like this before. It is not only patience that is needed, it's understanding as well. This way was the only way the DVD could have been released in any way whatsoever. Usually some fat cat producer forks out the cash to get it produced and distributed. In the mainstream, that is. However, the quality of the documentary itself is excellent. If a peeved backer ripped this off already on the torrent sites, you might as well grab it. You're going to get your copies sooner or later anyways. Mitch has posted the email to contact regarding shipments. They do not reply to these comments. Also, they probably have many emails which would take time to respond to. If anything, we should be peeved at Amazon.com.
