Indie rockers, Dewveall, are recording new music. Take a seat at the table; let them cook you a meal and sing you some songs.
We’re Jonathon and Melanie (aka Dewveall) - indie musicians from East Nashville. It’s been over three years since our last studio album. That’s a long time.
A lot has changed since that last record. We’ve reached our 30’s, abandoned much of our pop-folk sensibilities, and road-tested many new songs. We aren’t the same people, or the same musicians, that we were back then. We have something new to say and decided it was time to put some of those new songs out there.
So we teamed up with several good friends to start recording a new six song ep. One of the songs will be an updated version of Runaway Sun, a single we released a year ago. The other five are songs that our fans have fallen in love with at shows and songs that mean a lot to us personally.The most important thing to us is that we put out the absolute best record that we can for all of you. We’ve poured our energy and emotions into these songs, from the writing to the recording, and we’re very proud of what we’ve got so far. In fact, we can’t wait for y’all to hear it.
We’ve invested a lot of our money into the recording, but we still need to mix, master and manufacture the album. That’s where Kickstarter comes into play.
We’d like to partner with you to help us reach the finish line.
Our goal is $3500, which will help cover some of the costs we have left. To reach this goal, we’re offering special packages to those who pledge their support to our record.
