Lori Grinker, an acclaimed documentary photographer in the humanistic tradition is known for her strong aesthetic quality and unique color palette. Two published books, The Invisible Thread: A Portrait of Jewish American Women (co-author), and AFTERWAR: Veterans from a World in Conflict, which garnered international awards, including: W. Eugene Smith Memorial Fund Fellowship, Hasselblad Foundation grant, and the Ernst Haas award. Her work has been widely exhibited and published and is held in many private and museum collections. She is on the faculty of the ICP in NYC, and is currently teaching a seminar at Yale. She is represented by the Nailya Alexander Gallery, Meo Represents, and Contact Press Images in New York.
