Kickstarter

Three enormous boxes fulla shirts have arrived via the UPS, so me and some friends get to have a big mailer-stuffing party this weekend to get them out to you folks asap!  Updates to follow to let you folks know when they're shipped out to you.  Bay Area locals, I'll send out an email with the specific time/location for pickup, for those of you that indicated you prefer that over shipping.

I uploaded the artwork and put in the print order at Threadbird at the end of August, and approved their mockups on August 31.  Their usual turnaround time is between 10-15 days, so I expect I'll be hearing from them regarding the completion of the prints Any Day Now.  And then once the shirts come in me and my friends get to have a bag-stuffing party, and you'll likely be seeing your shirts toward the last week of this month or early October.

So that sure was a kickstarter!  Very shortly you'll be recieving email notifications to fill out a brief survey so that I know what your t-shirt designs and sizes are, what your sticker selections are, where I ship these things to, et cetera.  This shouldn't take me long to set up, so sit tight!

By now Amazon would theoretically have attempted to charge your payment source in the amount of your pledge.  If it failed to process, you'll get an email saying so, and you'll have the opportunity to select an alternate form of payment, should it become necessary.

Amazon likes to give payments 15 days to settle after the end of the kickstarter drive, which means I won't be sending the t-shirt order up until the end of the month.  But that is fine! Because it gives you a bit of time for everyone to fill out their surveys and by the time the money percolates through the pipes, everything should be in order to send up to the printer.

One thing I don't have to wait on, though, are stickers, so I'll post another update once I have a pile of them done and ready to go out.

EDIT: Ok, so it looks like the Kickstarter Advised Method of surveying is actually to wait until the rewards are ready to ship to ask for addresses, to minimize the risk of rewards being sent to places people don't live anymore.  So: if you have a shirt coming to you, you'll be hearing from me in a few weeks.  If you're stickers-only, we'll be talking sooner than that.
