From the Producers of "FIGHTING POLITICS"- MEDIA FLY CREATIVE brings you an incredible journey of 3 young adults who lost their lives on Mt.Hood.
THE STORY
On December 13, 2009, rescuers recovered the body of 26-year-old Luke T. Gullberg at about the 9,000-foot level two days after the trio began climbing an especially treacherous face of the mountain, The Reid Headwall. This film will attempt to unravel the mystery of Mt. Hood and the story of the fallen three.
As a dear friend to one of the fallen climbers and now, after spending 5 days on Mt.Hood searching for the lost three, a close friend of all three families involved , I found myself in an interesting situation. As a film-maker, my goal is tell stories that have impact and that change the way people live, think and feel. This documentary will tell the story of why America stopped for 5 days as we all waited to hear good news from Mt.Hood, but good news never came.
SYNOPSIS
This film will tell the stories of the three, capture the vastness and dangers of Mt.Hood, help unfold the Beacon controversy, and lastly encourage people to pursue their dreams.
OUR PLAN
Our current budget is $66,000. We have already reached around $10k through friends and family. This film will take approximately 6 months to shoot and edit, with a more detailed budget and shooting plan on our website. This $25k will allow us to start the filming process while still fund-raising, as these upcoming months are crucial to shooting Mt.Hood.
