About this project
GOLD is a television comedy for the web about the personal and professional struggles of two teams of professional Goblins & Gold Role Playing Gamers.
Season 1 of GOLD, the Series launched in November of 2008, with the season finale landing in late June of 2007. All told, it's about an hour and a half of quality television, viewable from the website http://www.goldtheseries.com in standard and high definition. We want to bring this excellent season of TV to DVD, so that it can be enjoyed by a much wider audience.
In order to do so, we need to do a fair amount of technical tweaking to the episodes, remixing color and sound so that it meets DVD quality standards, and mastering our DVD. In addition we wanna provide some extra content - outtakes, re-cut scenes, commentary tracks - which will be available only on DVD. In order to do all of this for our community, long-time fans and fans-to-be, we need to raise only $2500.

Apart from being a long-time RPG, Sci-Fi and comic book geek, David is an actor and writer in Los Angeles. He's the founder of Punisher77, co-author of the 2005 book "We and GWB: Notes from the First Four Years," a founding producer of the Lucid by Proxy theater company, and editor-in-chief of the eclectic online magazine Clark Schpiell Productions. GOLD, his first television series, was an official selection of the 2009 NYTVF.
