The Bischoffs have recorded their 1st record with producer Jeff Lipstein. Now they want to mix, master and share it with the world.
Dear Dear Friends of The Bischoffs,
You've been amazing. You came to our shows for the last three years, back when we were opening up for Jeffrey Lewis. Before we had a name. Before we realized that Amit should bang on a school desk or Aaron should play recorder. Before Jacob decided to change the course of the band's sound by getting his tap shoes down from the top shelf of his closet. You bought our Ninja Chop T-shirts and grabbed copies of our band's origin mini comic. You liked us on Facebook. You cheered us on as we signed with The Orchard for digital distribution and sync opportunities (hoping to one day sell our songs for cranberry juice ads). You are the true believers who want The Bischoffs to become the Next Big Thing. Well, we want it too. Since recording our first EP at WonderSound Records (Shout to Peter Wade and Emmett Farley!), followed by a few one-off singles, we've been holed up—recording a Magnum Opus Debut Full Length Record! It contains all your favorite songs from the shows:

We truly believe that we're making one for the ages here. We believe so much that we've invested $10,000 of our own money—hiring the producer of our dreams (Shout to Jeff Lipstein!) and recording in the studio of our dreams which happens to resides in Boston (Dimension Sound... What! What!). All of the creative work is now finished. These 12 songs have all the pieces in place from desk to bari sax to strings. And, sorry—can we just say?—it all sounds freakin unbelievable!!!
So here's where you come in. We gotta get this thing across the finish line. With a boost from all of you, we'll have a really pro-sounding album that we can share with the world. Here's how the remaining costs break down:
$3,000 - 5 days of mixing at Dimension Sound studios in Boston
$2,000 - mastering by Peerless Mastering in Boston
We can't wait to get you a copy of our little baby, plus all the other rewards we have planned, including lots of rare, Bischoffs-related original art by our resident cartoonist / front-man David Heatley.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The nice part about our campaign is that we've already done most of the work. There is nothing left to record and our engineer can't wait to help us mix the record. The only potential challenge that will stand between you and your rewards is the postal service and the weather. But we have connections who can pull strings in each of those departments. So it should all be good.
