Update #5 (Package preperation)
I have been working all night packing and sealing the cards, posters and letters to ship out to as many comic shops across the US as possible. I am having some fun with it. Hopefully these don't show up mangled beyond repair... and I really hope some shops get them and then immediately throw them away. These things cost me money and time! The plan is for shops to pass these out or have them available for interested customers and, even better, use the included poster for all to see. If you are a shop and you do put it up in your store, send me some photos and I'll do whatever I can to return the favor for your store!
As far as the fund goes, I am currently at $1985, so I am hoping to cross the 2k mark Sunday and maybe even get to 50% funding, if all goes well. We had an influx of new backers today, all whom discovered the page from kickingitforward.org and browsing the Kickstarter comics page. Thanks a lot to you new guys, some of you have even helped spread the word on Facebook. That means a lot!
Finally, the first packages I have prepared are for New England Comics in Norwood, MA, Casablanca Comics in Portland, ME and Main Street Comics in Middletown, NY. Thanks a lot for backing this book!!! If anyone is every on those cities, it goes without saying, visit these shops!
